Don't have a PayPal account? Here's what you need to do...

Step 1 - Sign up for a PayPal account

If you haven't already done so, get yourself a PayPal account now! It's completely free and once you've done it you can start collecting payments from day 1!

How to Turn Personal account into Business account:

Step 1 - Log in to your PayPal account at paypal.com

Step 2 - Click the Settings gear icon (top right)

Step 3 - Look for an "Upgrade to a Business account" option — it's usually under your account info or shown as a banner/link on the Settings page. (On some accounts it appears under your profile name or an "Account options" area.)

Step 4 - Click it and follow the prompts. PayPal will ask for:

• A business name (this can be your own name if you're a sole trader/sole proprietor)
• Your business type (e.g. individual/sole trader, partnership, company)
• Business contact details and a short description of what you sell or do

Step 5 - Review and confirm. The upgrade is free, and you keep the same email, balance, and transaction history — it's the same account, just with business features switched on

If you don't see the upgrade option:

Try the "Create a Business account" link on PayPal's signup page — if you use your existing email, it'll often offer to convert the account you already have rather than making a new one or contact PayPal support directly and ask them to upgrade it.

Step 2 - Enable Auto-Return in your PayPal account

The auto-return function in your PayPal account redirects your customer to the thank you page immediately after completing a purchase with you. We recommend that you enable this feature to ensure that your customers are taken to the thank you page to continue spending money with you, rather than closing the window.

To turn on auto-return...

Step 1 - Log into your PayPal account and click Profile.

Step 2 - Click the Website Payment Preferences link under Selling Preferences or go directly to this link once logged into your account: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/customerprofileweb?cmd=_profile-website-payments

Step 3 - Then locate 'Website preferences - Bring customers back to my website after they pay with PayPal' and click Update

Step 4 - Locate the Auto Return circle buttons and set Auto Return to 'On'.

Step 5 - Then enter a Return URL such as your main website or blog for PayPal's benefit. The URL you enter here does not affect the sales process. Your payment buttons will be set up to direct your customers to the corrent thank you page.

Step 6 - Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save. This setting will now redirect your customers to the download page automatically after they've purchased from you.

Step 3 - Allow dynamic PayPal payment buttons

Our affiliate system works by placing your payment buttons on our sales pages so you get paid instantly at the point of sale. To do this you have to Unblock/Disable non-encrypted website payments so your PayPal email can be dynamically added into our sales pages.

To enable dynamic PayPal buttons...

Step 1 - Log in to PayPal Business Settings

Step 2 - Go to Account Settings → Website Payments / Website Preferences

Step 3 - Find Encrypted Website Payments

Step 4 - Set Block Non-encrypted Website Payment = OFF

Step 5 - Save changes
